Here are some common questions about Pourvoirie Berval.

Yes, each fisherman need a fishing licence, but is not included in our packages. Children fish on the licence of the parents. Couple residing at the same address can fish on the same licence. Note that only customers holding the permit and fishing right have their quota of 10 trout.

It is possible to acquire your fishing license directly online on the platform “My Hunting and Fishing Account”.

A fishing right is the right to fish on a particular lake. Fishing rights are included in our fishing packages. While the fishing license is the provincial license you need to fish on the majority of lakes in Quebec. The provincial fishing license is not included in our packages.

We don’t sell fishing license, you can buy it at Canadian Tire or Sail for example. You can also buy it online at https://mondossierchassepeche.gouv.qc.ca/

We sell worms (jar of 18 medium size), fishing gears and ice at the reception.

We offer the rental of a ready-to-use fishing rod (line, lure and hook) .

It is possible to rent benches for rowboats, fish net , life jackets and a sonar.

You can make your reservation by phone at 514-991-1247  or email info@pourvoiriedulacberval.com between 8:00 and 18:00 everyday.

A 40% deposit, non refundable and non transferable is required for all reservations.

The number of days and people booked is not refundable.

The chalets are available until 16:00 and you can arrive until 20:00. You must leave your cottage at 11.00.

Your balance will be paid upon arrival at the reception with cash, debit or credit.

No, taxes are not included in the displayed price. They will be added to the total price.

Pets are accepted with fees of $ 20.00. It is mandatory to keep them on a leash at all times. If they cause damage, the pet owner is responsible.

 

There is no WI-FI at the Pourvoirie du Lac Berval, however the cellular network works on most of the site.

Bring your pleasure craft operator card, if you can not we get you to sign dockside checklist, free.

 

Having only one lake, we have to limit the number of boats on it, which is why we do not allow other boats.

Also in order to protect this lake (invasives algaes) you cannot bring your own motor.

That’s why all our fishing packages include the boat with electric motor, 2 batteries.

We have 14ft fiberglass boats with 40lbs thrust electric motor as well as 2 batteries that we charge at no cost. You will find in the boat, the safety kit, 2 oars, the anchor and a receptacle to put your catches.

 

Also in order to protect our lake from invasive aquatic species, we do not accept your kayaks or paddle boards on our lake.

We offer the free loan of kayak and paddle board with any accommodation package.

 

We do not have a restaurant on site and we do not sell alcoholic beverages.

For people who have booked for the daily fishing, there are tables outside to bring your lunch.

As for the chalets, they are all equipped for cooking.
