The 2023 season is officially over and so the outfitter is closed until the start of the winter and the holiday season!
We want to thank all our clients, new or veteran outfitters, who chose us for their fishing adventure and their time in nature in 2023. Thank you for trusting us and for your support. This year was especially marked by forest fires that brought a lot of uncertainties and unfortunately affected several other outfitters, who were either devastated by the flames or had their operations stopped due to travel bans in at-risk regions. We are lucky to have been spared and to have been able to continue our operations during these events. We stand in solidarity with other outfitters who were not so fortunate.
What’s happening in the meantime before the winter season? Well, we will be hard at work preparing for the next season but also maintaining the site and introducing some new features that will be revealed in the coming weeks!
Speaking of new features, this year we added a brand new cabin to the outfitter named “L’Évasion“, a beautiful cabin that can accommodate 6 people (2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom) and also has a private dock for lake access. The feedback from customers who tried it has been positive and we are delighted that this addition to the outfitter has been so well received!
We have also revamped our website! It has been completely redesigned to offer you a better user experience. Plus, you will soon be able to make your reservation online directly.
In a remarkable event, in the last few days before closing, a young fisherman managed to catch a magnificent 7.4 lb rainbow trout, thereby setting the record for the year 2023! It is also interesting to know that the fisherman and his family have been great fishermen of the outfitter for many years, so it was a well-deserved catch for him who has been teasing the trout of Lake Berval since he was very young.
With that, we look forward to seeing you during the holiday season for the start of the next season and we will be working hard in the coming weeks to prepare the site and the upcoming new features!
